Xiaomi Mi Air 13'3 as an Hackintosh

Hi,

I recently started looking into hackintoshes and I really want to try it out. But at the moment I am kind of confused about what hardware will work and what "it will not work" means. I'm using a Xiaomi Mi Air 13'3 ( i5.6200U, Nvidea 940mx and 8Gb ram) as my 2. Pc and I really want to turn it into a hackintosh. I just want to know it I can use this PC for it? Is it even possible? I recently started studying computer science and I am totally fine with spending a lot of time with this project.
