Hey there!
Like many others, I’m still stuck on macOS 10.13 High Sierra because I have an Nvidia GPU. However, I really only need macOS for coding, the most demanding task I need done is running the iOS Simulator inside Xcode, but even that I could live without, because I can simply load apps directly onto my iPhone for testing.
That said, I wanted to ask those of you who installed High Sierra Web Drivers on Catalina if the performance you get would be enough for these general tasks. I’m aware you lose many Nvidia-specific features, but if the general performance is ok and without those weird artifacts and sluggishness you get from integrated graphics, I’m honestly fine with updating to Catalina.
