So I’m sorry in advance that I’m lacking access to a lot of pertinent info.
I built a hackintosh for my dad with an 8600k and a gigabyte Matx motherboard I think it was a gigabyte ds3h z370m.
Using integrated gpu.
At some point he tried to update it even though he knew better.
Luckily his girlfriend has a MacBook so I remotes in to it and made a usb stick using the original disk image I had used to install MacOS in the first place.
It supposedly completed the install but when he tried to boot from the ssd he eventually just gets a solid purple screen.
I’m literally all the way across the continental US so it’s not that easy for me to troubleshoot this.
What should my first step be ? Again I apologize for the lack of info in this post.
