USB Doesn't Work

So I am new to building a Hackintosh and am taking this project as a learning opportunity.

System Components:

-MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon

-Ryzen 7 1700x

-EVGA GTX 1070 SC Black

I have followed this guide ( https://vanilla.amd-osx.com/setting-up-clover-for-amd-vanilla/ ) to create a Clover Boot Manager on a flash drive.

I need help with 3rd party .kext as no guides I have seen specifically, and ONLY, use Windows for making a Hackintosh. I just downloaded the master zip files of the kexts, unzipped them to E:\EFI\CLOVER\kexts\Other, and tacked on a .kext to the folders.

I have the following .kexts:

-AppleALC

-FakeSMC

-Lilu

-NullCPUPowerManagement

-SmallTree-Intel-211-AT-PCIe-GBE

-WhateverGreen

I tried VirtualSMC but it led to a kernel panic so I switched back.

Clover booted me into the MacOS Recovery Menu but I was unable to use the mouse and keyboard so I had to shut down.

Am I missing something? I was thinking of installing the USB kext from https://hackintosh.gitbook.io/-r-hackintosh-vanilla-desktop-guide/gathering-kexts . But it stated that there was no support for AMD x370 chipsets.

I am also seeing the Mojave has no support for Nvidia Graphics Cards. So I may need help on this, too.

My goal is to install MacOS mojave onto an external HDD connected via SATA to USB.
