Mobile UHD 630 - Gradiants/Shadows very choppy

So my laptop, an ideapad 330 (i5 8300H with UHD 630) is like almost perfect. Everything works, sleep works, darkwake works, 4 finger multitouch. It’s great except one issue with the screen.

So basically when QE/CI doesn’t work (if I intentionally enter an invalid platform id, the colors look completely fine, as they should look (https://chloe.moe/HOfzuFRh1o.jpg)

When I do have QE/CI enabled, that works great, except the translucency looks awful (https://chloe.moe/fcBlRvQK2f.jpg)

I’ve tried injecting a patched EDID, however that doesn’t seem to change anything at all. I’ve also tried using every mobile platform-id for Coffee Lake mobile iGPU’s, the different id’s either made the problem slightly better or slightly worse, but the problem is still extremely noticeable.

I’m not quite sure what else I can do to fix the issue. Using ResXSwitch to force a higher bit depth doesn’t help either. >.<

I’m using Latest WhateverGreen and Lilu on a vanilla 10.14.6 install. If anyone knows what’s causing this to happen that would help me so so much :>
