Is is possible to move a boot drive from a Mac and use it as a Hackintosh boot drive? If so, how?

I have an 10.14 installation on an SSD; I just moved this Mac install over to a new M.2 drive, so it is no longer needed for my Mac system. Is there a way I could add Clover, etc., to this install in order to install it directly into a system I'd like to use as an experimental Hackintosh? (That is an HP 500-336, with an i3-4130). Thanks for any directions you could point me toward.
