I've been having an ongoing problem with my Novation Audiohub USB Audio Device on my Clover EFI Install of High Sierra, 10.13.6, an install which is otherwise working perfectly.
When the Audiohub is plugged into my Hackintosh when the computer is on, it is detected and works perfectly, and even on a restart/reboot at that point, remains as the detected, default audio device. However, if I shut the computer down, come back to it a few hours/next day and boot up cold, the Audiohub is missing and not detected as an audio device (so no audio for me as my speakers are plugged into the Audiohub, and the Audiohub is not visible as an output/input option in Sound Preferences), despite still being plugged in via USB and the Audiohub being visibly powered up. Unplug/Plug of the Audiohub USB cable gets it working again at that point.
I am using USBInjectAll, together with a SSDT-UIAC and USBMap (created using the USBMap command), and have USB 3.0 disabled via BIOS. USB works perfectly - plugging/unplugging devices works fine and USB mouse/USB keyboard/USB HDD all work fine on cold boot and remain detected as normal - it is only the Audiohub that is losing detection as an available Sound Device on a cold boot.
An interesting quirk is that the Audiohub also functions as a USB hub, and devices I have plugged into the Audiohub remain detected and operational by the Hackintosh when this cold boot problem arises, even though the Audiohub itself is not being detected as an available audio device - so its probably unlikely to be a USB kext/port mapping problem, and the culprit is likely to have something to do with audio detection/settings.
Has anyone encountered this problem and has a potential solution for me? I have already tried the ResetHDA flag (which mentions it being a solution for a cold boot audio detection problem in the Clover Configurator popup help) in my Clover config.plist to no avail.
