I don't have a lot of AVI files, but I come across them occasionally. I recently switched back to VLC due to MPV crashing/locking up computer, and in general it seems to be working great, except that AVI files refuse to play... they don't even BEGIN to play?
They still play in MPV, so I don't think the files are corrupt?!
I just found an update to VLC, so I will try that :-/
