Using VirtualSMC instead of FakeSMC

Its my understanding ACPIBatteryManager.kext and VoodooI2C.kexts dont like to place nice with each other. I have issues after sleep and want to try to see if this is the problem. The dev suggested VirtualSMC + SMCBatteryManager as a replacement, but I want to check where exactly these can be installed to. I assume since its SMC i should probably install to /EFI/Clover/Kexts/Others and L/E with Clover set to Detect, but is that really all there is to it? Do I need to do anything more to use VirtualSMC + SMCBatteryManager over the FakeSMC and ACPIBatteryManager solution im using now? Should I install the virtualsmc.efi? Does that just go next to BOOTX64.efi in EFI/Boot?
