Thinkpad power LED keeps blinking after sleep

Hello all,

Finally got a working install of Mojave on my X1 Carbon 5th gen Thinkpad (i7 7500u, 16gb RAM, 120GB non-m.2 drive). It is mostly perfect except for one tiny annoyance: the power LED keeps doing slow pulses even after the computer has been woken up from sleep.

I did google this issue and came up with this thread, along with a few very similar variants. All said to place

\_SB.PCI0.LPC.EC.LED(0x00, 0x80) \_SB.PCI0.LPC.EC.LED(0x0A, 0x80)

underneath NVSS in \_WAK in my DSDT.

I decompiled DSDT.aml into a .dsl and opened that up in MaciASL. I added those two lines where the guide says to, but when I click compile it gives me an error on both lines: "Object does not exist."

Granted, I am a beginner, but the only thing I was fairly sure of is that you shouldn't have errors in your compiled DSDT.

If anyone has a better way to solve this issue, or knows how to correctly solve it this way, any and all help would be appreciated. Thank you!

EDIT: Forgot to link mentioned thread
