Hello r/hackintosh
I've been a long time mbp user. I'm looking at building a hackintosh desktop for large session audio mixing. My only concern is compatibility with updates and possible future OS releases. Since this desktops main purpose is for working, I won't be needing to update the OS. My question is (it also feels like common sense) if I build a mackintosh with the same hardware as, lets say a 2017 iMac for example, how will the reliability/ compatibility be for downloading updates? Any concerns or if its running the same hardware, will there be no issue?
