Mojave: Display profile is ignored after boot or wakeup

Hello everyone,

I assume my problem might be not hackintosh specific but just related to Mojave.

My laptop's display is far too blue (not just in macOS - also in BIOS or other OS), so I use a display profile to fix this up a bit. It worked very well pre-Mojave, but in Mojave after every boot or wakeup I have to go to Settings -> Display -> Colour. BUT it's not even necessary to select the correct profile then (it is already selected). As soon as I switch to the "Colour" page everything is fine again (till the next time). So the setting gets properly saved, it just seems like Mojave forgets to load it OR it accidentally loads at some time the defaults.

Here more details about the system in case they might be relevant: - Mojave 10.14.5 - happens with Chameleon as well as with Clover - hp Elitebook 8770w with Nvidia K3000M - it's the laptop's builtin display, I try to correct the colour - this display is used as a secondary display

Alternatively, if someone knows how to adjust the screen's colour settings in general/ OS-indepently, that would be more than fine for me as well.

Or is there any nvram setting, which became relevant in Mojave and wasn't necessary pre-Mojave?

Thanks in advance!
