I have just retired my 2012 retina Macbook Pro and bought a 4k Dell XPS 15 9575 i7 with Radeon Vega. I was hoping to get this into a workable hackintosh state but at the moment this seems impossible. That said I would like to get MacOS going on it in some form or another due to a few MacOS only apps I still use. I've got El Cap setup in VMWare Player following instructions I found, however, as is already known there are no drivers to enable QE/CI and consequently this UI is a fair bit laggy. I've been reading about pass-through for GPU on VMs and it enabling extra performance but the information is scant and quite deep with little or no easy place to start messing around. Has anyone had any experience getting this sort of setup working reasonably?
