I am running High Sierra on a Z370 Aorus Gaming 5 motherboard. As I understand it, the onboard wifi will not work on a hackintosh so I need to find an alternative solution to get wifi working ( I have been using ethernet up until now) .
The options seem to be PCIe wifi or USB wifi. My preference would be PCIe but my worry is how that will work with the motherboard, because of the built in wifi. Will I have to disable the onboard wifi? Is that even possible?
Also, is there performance compromises with the USB option, because if its easier and has similar performance then I don't mind taking that route.
I am a bit of a hackintosh novice so any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
