Help With Compatibility Check

Hello everyone.

I've been looking into replacing my 2015 iMac (16,2) with a custom hackintosh because I want something I can customize as well as have a good gaming experience while also being able to boot a vanilla install of macOS. I know that's a big goal, so I'm willing to make compromises for compatibility since running macOS with as little hacking as possible is the number one priority. It has to be solid on the macOS side otherwise it won't really be worth it for me.

As a side note, I built a PC back in 2010 or so and messed around with hackintosh there but didn't really know what I was doing. I'm a CS student now so I'm willing to work hard to get this thing to run well, but I've been out of the hackintosh community for a long time now.
