This is the first time have used a amd card and for the life of me I can't get it to work, the system also has no igpu so.... I always end up with one of two results trying to boot with a rx480 or r5 240, either a black screen after post(right after the verbose messages end) or 5MBs vram,
things I have tried, google, weg+lilu, and faking the pcid
Booting with a RX 480 and whatever green and lilu with -radvesa causes it to get stuck on deleteCredentialSet: deleting credential set, CS[102]
Booting with a completely unsupported card a Quadro 400, the system will reach the desktop, but stuck a low rez and software graphics
Booting with a r5 240/340 and no whatevergreen I reach the desktop with 5Mbs Vram
Booting with a r5 240 and whatevergreen, stuck on black screen
weird things about the system and specs
its a Lenovo s20 with a w3680 CPU and 24GBs of ram,
the gpu I want to use is a sapphire rx 480, same as this one here Amazon
the system does not support Uefi boot or GPT another headache Im dealing with,
