nothing happens after selecting "Install macOS" and then the Continue button

as above.

I saw a similar discussion to mine (https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/9yjnhr/nothing_happens_when_i_press_install_macos_mojave/) and it talked about manually running the installer via terminal. I've looked at the vanilla guide (the link on the right) twice but cannot see it.
