Hi there, I have an ASUS P7P55D-E-Pro running HS.
I was having spontaneous reboots - usually during large file transfers, so I suspected RAM.
I have 4x 4gb sticks, DIMM0 are Crucial and DIMM1 are Kingston. They’re about 8/9 years old, and 4 years old - respectively. I suspect it’s the crucial.
Ran memtest and had a fail, but I don’t know how to interpret the results - can anyone help?
Here’s the results on pastebin.
I’ve tried reseating them, same before and after. I know that I could remove the Kingston, set up a large transfer and see what happens, but it’s one of those intermittent issues - hoping someone can help and save a bit of time!
Thanks all.
