I can get a Macbook Core 2 Duo 2.26 running 10.13 for under $400 or I can get a Dell Core i5m with similar specs for free.
I am thinking I would need to run VMware ESXi to virtualize the hardware to be mac compatible.
Question is, is it worth the trouble or do I just get an old Macbook? The person this is for only uses the web, MS word/excel and Muesscore which supports 10.12+
