I managed to install High Sierra yesterday (MSI Z97i Gaming AC + i7 4790k + iGPU).
After installing everything worked fine. I was also able to run my screen at 4k resolution. But the system didn't boot without the USB installer drive and I realized that I didn't run MultiBeast after installing. So I ran MultiBeast, and since everything was working fine, I only selected "UEFI boot mode" to install.
After doing this, the system booted just fine, without USB installer drive, but now the Ethernet is not working anymore, and I can't select 4k resolution anymore (shift/click not working to select other hidden resolutions).
Can anybody tell me why? Is there a way to install "UEFI boot mode" after macOS installation without touching the kext folders? Because after installing macOS the kext folders where pretty clean with just a few kexts and after running MultiBeast the kext folders had like 50 entries or more, even if I selected only to install "UEFI boot mode" in MultiBeast.
Can I just run Clover 2.4 to install the UEFI without adding additional kexts and having to edit the config.plist after to make it run?
Thank you!
