Hey so I’m trying to figure out if it’s plausible to create a hackintosh located on a 128gb USB that boots to a HP Spectre x360.
I was looking at this guide: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-high-sierra-on-hp-spectre-x360-8th-gen-coffee-lake.251330/
And looking through it I’m not sure if it’s necessary I use the SSD provided with the computer or not. My specs are a bit different as well:
CPU:
• Intel i7-6500U @ 2.50GHZ • 2 Cores • 4 logical processors • TDP: 15W • integrates graphics: Intel HD graphics 520
Motherboard
• HP 81A1 (same as guide so I don’t think it’s an issue)
Really just wondering if I follow the guide but just install Mac OS on the USB drive if it will boot and run.
