I just built a hackintosh thanks to the really great help on this sub. The only issue I'm experiencing is not being able to properly log out of any account, and therefore not being able to normally shut down. I've done a couple tests over ssh looking at the running processes, and I've looked through the system.log file. The only thing I noticed there was what I already knew–no processes stop when the log-out button is clicked, just the screen goes black with the cursor. Also, when I log into the root user gui and then send a sigterm or even a sigkill to all of another user's processes, none of them stop! The only way to effectively halt the system is to hold down the power button... My specs are:
CPU: i7-8700
MoBo: Asus H370 TUF Pro-Gaming +WiFi
GPU: Power Color AMD RX560
RAM: T-Force 16Gb 2666Mhz
Storage: Samsung 860EVO 500GB
Any help appreciated–thanks!
