Can't connect to eduroam on startech ac600 or any other usb wifi

So, I recently got my hackintosh working on my laptop with everything being fine and all at 10.14.1 Mojave, however, the worst thing to be a problem is the eduroam. As my USB wifi which is a startech ac600 : https://www.startech.com/ca/Networking-IO/Wireless/usb-dual-band-wifi-adapter~USB433ACD1X1 .

Now this adaptor is in itself really good, it connects to 5g network at my house and even get's me good speed, when I got it from the university, BUT!

it does not connect to the eduroam wifi. Which I need as I spend most of my time at university. Like it is a necesity and I can't spend another $80 for a really good usb wifi when I already hav a $40 USB wifi bought?!?

So my question is, is there a cheaper USB wifi, that can connect to eduroam on mac, and that has 5g connectivity as well. That is around or under CA$40 . Or is there a hack or a way I can get this thing to work???

tldr; startech ac600 usb wifi connect to eduroam on Mojave 10.14.1
