Z370 or Z390

I am making a mini ITX build for work, budget is around $2k. Any thoughts on these two builds? Any reason to go with a Z370 over a Z390?

Leaning towards the Vega 56 to cool the case I chose better. I am avoiding a 9 series CPU on the Z370 build for now until I figure out if I can borrow a 1151 to do a BIOS update.
