I have a ThinkPad X230 running High Sierra. I'm looking to add FireWire through an ExpressCard adapter. I've found this adapter that says its only compatible up to Mavericks. I've also found this adapter which is supposed to be compatible with High Sierra, however they are no longer manufactured and I couldn't find them used anywhere. Would it be possible to get the StarTech adapter working on High Sierra or is there be a different adapter that would be compatible?
