Spoofing my Mac Pro 1,1 as a 1,2 to upgrade to two Quad Core Xeons

Looking for help on spoofing my Mac Pro 1,1 as a 1,2 to upgrade to two Quad Core Xeons. It’s currently running a 1TB Samsung 860 Evo SSD, 32GB of Ram, Radeon HD 5770 Graphics Card, two dual core Xeons, and it’s running El Capitan. I have a tool I downloaded from a forum that helps change my system from 1,1 to 1,2 so my system can properly recognize and support the two quad cores. After the tool runs it tells me to turn off the Mac and then when I turn it on I’m suppose to hold the power button until the light starts flashing then let go, it makes a beeping noise, then then I’m suppose to get a grey loading screen thing that should take like a minute to load then it’ll boot in after that process and then once it’s back on it should say 2,1 but it still says 1,1 and the program when I reopen it still shows upgrade with the downgrade button grayed out so I know it didn’t work. Any help or pointers would be very helpful, and find anything else on the internet to help me in this situation.
