I've noticed that my backups are taking ages and tested the external drive using Blackmagic. Speed is 30mb/sec read & write. Same external drive on MBP is 110mb/sec read & write. Gigabyte Aorus Z370 mobo, Vanilla install, Mojave 10.14.2.
Any simple suggestions to speed up the USB ports?
