Dual boot, separate drives, win 10, macos

I'm pretty new to this hackintoshed stuff. I have an SSD with clover and working macos - uefi. I have another SSD with windows 10 - uefi.

When I try to boot windows it fails both from clover and direct from boot options from bios. Both ways come up with "inaccessible boot device" or something along those lines.

If I take out the Mac SSD than windows boots. Although a few times I some screwed it up to the point of ruining the installation. I believe when I don't screw with it will generally boot if the Mac SSD is not in the computer.

Preferable I would like to use the bios/f# to switch boot device instead of using clover.

I don't understand why even the f# boot options fail. Why does the Mac SSD interfere when trying to boot from an SSD that is completely separate.

*Currently my setup for Mac clover is basically a copied efi. So I'm not too savvy with this stuff. I have dual booted Linux in the past so I have some knowledge of dual booting.

  • Currently my windows installtion is screwed up semi perminately so I will probably end up reinstalling.
