Considering making the jump... but I have a question about performance!

I am considering pulling the trigger and building an ATX hackintosh rig, nothing fancy just following a build guide from Tonymac86 with an i5 8600, 16GB RAM, SSD, a compatible NVIDIA 1060 and all the other compatible parts... but what I want to know is this: will the hackintosh run just as smooth as an actual Mac? I am working with 4K video doing heavy edits and I do a lot of photo processing in Lightroom, hundreds of RAW photos at a time. No gaming. Would I be able to breeze through media using Premiere Pro? Seeing that even a 2014 Mac mini can cut through 4K like nothing is encouraging... but I would love to see this performance with a hackintosh.
